Indian Geotechnical Society Refund Policy

1. Refund Eligibility:

The Indian Geotechnical Society (IGS) is committed to providing its members with valuable services and experiences. This refund policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds will be provided for membership fees and other transactions conducted through the Indian Geotechnical Society.

2. Membership Fees:

Membership fees cannot be refunded, transferred, or prorated for any reason, including membership termination, resignation, or non-participation in IGS activities.

Membership fees will be refunded to the applicants who do not satisfy the criteria for membership in the Society or for any other reasons mentioned by the IGS secretariat.

3. Processing Refund Requests:

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to admin@igs.org.in along with the bank account details to which the refund will be credited.  Refunds will be processed within 15 business days from the date of receiving a valid refund request.

4. Refund Exceptions:

IGS reserves the right to make exceptions to this refund policy on a case-by-case basis in situations where extenuating circumstances exist. Such exceptions will be at the discretion of the Indian Geotechnical Society and will be considered on merit.
