A student chapter of IGS is started in JODHPUR INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY, Jodhpur. The official announcement of the JIET Student Chapter opening is made by Prof.(Dr,) N K Samadhiya, President Indian Geotechnical Society, and  Prof.(Dr.) J T Shahu - Hon Secretary  IGS. Both of the dignitaries had joined the program in online mode. Dr. H. P Gour, President of IGS Jodhpur Local Chapter, had announced the four office bearers for the chapter- Ms. Mamta Bishnoi -President, Mr. Lokesh Soni - Vice President, Mr. Devansh Kulhariya - Secretary and Mr. Himanshu Garg - Treasurer. Oath ceremony administered by Dr. H P Gour President, Dr. Saraswati Chand - Vice President, Dr. Sahdeo Thalor - Additional Secretary, and Prof. Kiran Bhoot Treasurer of IGS  Jodhpur Local Chapter.
